Parent Involvement

Parent Involvement

Parents of international school students who visit for Educational Voluntourism often join the trips as chaperones. In many cases they develop their own activities to support the visit. For instance, some parent chaperones have run vision clinics for the adults in the Nepali community, providing eyesight testing and distributing donated glasses for the vision impaired. Even parents who didn't join the trips are often touched by their children's experiences and want to become involved. We have had numerous successful projects run by supportive parents in their home countries that advance our projects in Nepal. If you want to get involved, there is no limit to how or where!
